Renders and key specifications of a new HMD smartphone have surfaced online. The phone is called the HMD Grand and it is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chipset.
According to the leak, the handset will sport a 6.9-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Full-HD+ resolution. The HMD Grand appears to be a budget 4G smartphone.

Leaked renders show the device in Flora Blue and Titanium color options. The phone appears to feature noticeably thick display bezels along with a relatively prominent bottom chin.
In terms of optics, the HMD Grand is said to pack a 50MP primary rear camera alongside an 8MP ultrawide sensor housed within a rectangular camera module. On the front, the device is tipped to feature a 50MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone will house a 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, as per the leak. Other expected features include dual speakers, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual microphones.
Software-wise, the HMD Grand is expected to ship with Android 16 out of the box, followed by two years of OS updates and three years of security patches. The phone will likely be sold in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations.
