Samsung Galaxy S26's charging speed may surprise you
Galaxy S26 Ultra / Samsung
Rumors have consistently suggested the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra would boost its wired charging to 60W. The S26+ was thought to remain at 45W, and the base S26 at 25W, mirroring their predecessors. However, a new report now claims the standard Galaxy S26 will also increase to 45W, putting it on par with the Plus model.
Naturally, it's still unclear how much this will practically reduce charging times, but the move is welcomed. The Galaxy S26 and S26+ are both rumored to be powered by the Exynos 2600 chipset, though it's unconfirmed if this will be a global or region-specific arrangement. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is again expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. All three models are reportedly scheduled for announcement on February 25.

The accuracy of this information remains unverified, so caution is advised. That noted, it is certainly time for Samsung's most affordable flagship to advance beyond 25W charging, especially when its competitors from China have offered significantly faster charging for years.
